Looking for some quick advice from those who know more than me.

So we are trying to acclimatise for the Himalayas (7100 peak) and want to sleep high. We slept at 3200 last night and went up Weismess today. We need to sleep higher and the plan was to sleep at Margarita Hut (4500) on Saturday. Weather on Friday (eve), Saturday, Sunday looks good. We are planning to head down to Monta Rosa range in the hope of sleeping high.

Is there anywhere safe to bivvy, set up a tent near the Margarita Hut?

Any other places to bivvy, sleep around there?

Would anyone recommend an alternative plan of acclimatisation given we have tomorrow night, Saturday night and Sunday day time. We are in Says Fee atm and planning to head on in the morning. Anything but Most Blanc and the bivvy Hut up there. We would preferably like to go to Italy but open to anything.

Thank you so much!!!

There is a bivi hut on the balmenhorn at 4200m on Monte Rose. Tolerable...

It's on the summit, free, has blankets and room for about 10. Beds in the roof so gets rather stuffy, sleeping downstairs probably more comfy in that case. 1.5 hrs up from the Gnifetti hut on a well trodden track.

Last time on Mont Blanc there were tents at the top of the Peuterey Ridge near the summit of MB d C.

Nice and flat and hardly any passing traffic, always guessed they were trying your acclimatisation plan.
