Has anyone used a Edelrid helix 25?
I had been looking to buy either a Lowe Alpine Peak Attack 42 (£56) or Lowe Alpine Peak Attack 32 (£46) but have seen a really good deal on the Eldrid (£35)
Looking for a day pack for cragging, so trad gear, rope, food and water

I currently use a Decathlon rucksack, which is good but doesn't hold its shape well and becomes uncomfortable when wearing for a while

Please do share where you found that price for the helix?

P.s sorry no experience with either but know the peak attack comes highly recommended by a lot of people

Used the Helix a few times already and it's really nice. The deal is here: http://www.rockrun.com

How do you find the size for fitting in a days worth of gear?
My quechua arpenaz 30 is just about the right size, but has large side pockets which I don't really use to their full potential

I find it a little on the small side, but manageable with careful packing. But very dependent on how much gear you have. I've a couple of larger bags I use when needed, and wouldn't want to solely rely on the Helix for everything all the time
