Climb with HAZEL FINDLAY in Kalymnos - one of the world’s best climbers in one of the world’s best climbing locations!

This September you have an exclusive and unique opportunity to join us for a very special climbing holiday in the stunning Greek Island of Kalymnos with personal coaching from Hazel Findlay. Hazel is collaborating with inZpiring HoriZons to coach and climb with a group of maximum 8 climbers on this beautiful Mediterranean island, often known as the mecca for climbing.
Hazel is one of the boldest climbers in the world with many first female ascents. She was the first female British climber to climb a route graded E9, and the first to climb a route graded 8c/5.14b. She is professionally sponsored by Black Diamond Equipment, La Sportiva, etc. Hazel also has a wealth of experience and is a great coach focusing on both technique and mental barriers that climbers of all abilities face.
Hazel's coaching focuses on both technique and mental barriers that climbers of all abilities face. Even though we will climb in a group, Hazel's coaching will be specific to each individual. Some aspects Hazel will be focusing on are - fall technique, onsight coaching and redpointing, fun exercises like mindful climbing and flow exercises etc. Kalymnos offers a variety of climbing styles which will enable Hazel to help coach different techniques. Outside of the coaching sessions the group can enjoy plenty to climbing time around the island. We will provide a car between 4 people to use and provide DMM ropes and quickdraws.
Evenings are usually spent with the group enjoying dinner together in one of the stunning seaview restaurants where you will have an opportunity to review your day with Hazel in a friendly setting.
There is also plenty to do on the island when you are not climbing with many pristine beaches, beautiful landscape and delicious greek food.
The trip date is from 04-09-16 to 11-09-16
The price includes flights, transfers, accommodation, coaching, an experienced trip host, a car for the week to share between 4 people and climbing gear (ropes and quickdraws). Price per person is £1200. We are also able to offer the trip for a discounted price if you would like to make your own travel arrangements and meet us in Kalymnos.
