The Jam series continues with our summer session on Thursday 30th June at Beacon Climbing Centre in Caernarfon.
20 boulders. 20 routes. 4 hours. Choose to boulder. Choose to tie in. Or be a renegade and do both. Your top ten ascents plus total number of bonuses create your final score.
And as with all our Jam events, you don’t need to be a champion to take part. Beacon Jam sessions are about trying awesome climbs and having a mega time being part of something bigger than your regular climbing session. No advance registration is required… just turn up on the day and jam!
Climbing will start at 5pm and all score cards must be submitted by 9pm. We’ll keep the bar open until 11pm and aim to announce the winners at 9.30pm giving you plenty of downtime to hang around, catch up with friends and reward yourself with a beer.
Fuel.
Restoke your fire with a burger and a beer (or soft drink) for only a fiver from the Beacon Café. We’ll be open until 11pm with plenty of BBQ style specials to get you in the summer vibe available all evening.
Categories & Prizes.
Juniors under 13 years – 10 entry pass
Seniors 14 – 44 years – 10 entry pass
Veterans 45+ years – 10 entry pass
Separate male / female categories with prizes awarded to the winner in each category.
Bonus Prizes.
We’ll also be awarding spot prizes throughout the evening. You’ll find some of these randomly hidden amongst the routes and boulders but we’ll also be handing them out at our discretion as and when we bear witness to unparalleled feats of awesomeness.
The Hero Prize.
