Hello,

I'm look for a new trad climbing bag and wanted to see if anyone has used the Patagonia Crag Daddy (http://www.patagonia.com/us/product/crag-daddy-pack-45-liters?p=48060-0)? Currently I have the Climbing Technology Falesia (http://www.joe-brown.com/10032/products/climbing-technology-falesia-climbin... which is a good pack but doesn't offer much support for longer walk-ins.

My only concern with the Patagonia pack is that it might not be big enough, even though both are 45L it just looks smaller so was wondering what if anyone on here had one and could comment on this?

Thanks,
Neil.

Hi there

Looked at this myself - good size but went for the dmm crag sac I think it's called.

Awesome pack with some great and very useful features such as the interstates rope tarp.

Cheers

It definitely is a bit on the small side I've found. The Black Diamond version (Creek 50) which a friend has is way more generously sized. I do like the features on the Patagonia sack but it would be better if it was just a bit roomier in my opinion.

Thanks for the replies.

The Black Diamond bag looks good, hadn't spotted that about before. Will see if I can find it in a shop.
