Working at Surrey Sports Park - an elite sports facility with a wide range of clients - this position will involve supporting the operational requirement of Surrey Summit. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in ensuring safety of equipment, dealing with telephone, email and face to face enquiries as well as delivering a high standard of customer service, in keeping with the levels set by Surrey Sports Park and the University of Surrey.
This role will involve interaction with guests looking to gain new skills, as well as frequent users of the centre, in addition to internal departments on a regular basis so excellent communication and customer service skills are essential. The Climbing Duty Instructor will support the Assistant Climbing Centre Manager and Climbing Centre Manager in meeting the objectives of the department by delivering a wide range of courses and sessions; the post holder should be able to work with minimum day-to-day supervision and be pro-active in seeking ways to develop and improve Surrey Summit.
