Ice Axe and Crampons Disposal or Recycling

I've got some old ice axes and crampons that I doubt anyone would buy. Does anyone know the best way to dispose of them?

Ebay, people will buy all sorts, especially if on a budget, in fact a guy posted today here asking for kit as he was skint, do your good deed for the day !!

Or donate to a club or use 'em creatively as ornaments, decorations or hooks.

I've just taken stuff to my local tip and bunged them in the "metals" skip.
Although your manor might be a bit posh for a local tip!

An understandable miss spell makes that read in a homophobic way if you're pondering the dislikes.
