Hi, I think I may have lost a walking boot (scarpa) in Glencoe this weekend. Either in the car park for Aonoch Eagach or at the Glencoe Independent Hostel.

If anyone has any info please shout. I would really like it back!!!

I thought that "Lost Boot Climb" was on the supreme upper tier at Ogwen/Idwal.( By mucking around, hopefully more people will see your posting.)

More importantly... how?

They were loose in the boot because I was wearing mountaineering boots. Left home with two boots in the boot. Came back with one boot in the boot

I see... boot-ception. I had visions of you getting back to the car and wondering why one foot was cold and wet.

A friend of my parents once threw away his boots in a fit of pique while still having a few miles to walk back to the car, after recounting how much he paid for them and how disgusted he was, and spent five minutes looking for them in the heather.
