Myself and a friend are heading up to Scotland beginning of March. We are staying at Strath Lodge and have access to the Ben, Stob Corrie nan Lochan and The Bucaille Etive.

What is the best current winter climbing guidebook for that area?

SMC Glen Coe
SMC Ben Nevis

SMC Scottish Winter Climbs is comprehensive and more than enough for a trip, giving alternatives across the country (great value for money) should the weather in the west cr*p out.

Thanks Kevin. It looks like the comprehensive focuses on low- to mid-grade which is ideal for us as we are looking at around III, give or take.

Thanks for the recommendation.
