I don't know if other people have seen this but check out the world's biggest photo. The detail is immense...if you left your bivvy bag on the Flammes des Pierre or lost some kit on the Chandelle of the Central Pillar of Freney you can spot it using the photo.😊

Thanks to my 13 year old for finding it.

I wonder if you can order a print from a section of the panorama?
I had a look but it didn't seem possible sadly.

Fantastic photo.

Looks like the team on the crux of the north face of the Tour Ronde are enjoying a bit of rope drag.

Good find! Spent ages yesterday looking for climbers and only found the couple on the Cosmiques. Was wondering how they managed to take those photos in stonking weather and with no climbers in any of the honeypots usually sporting long queues.

It sure is a fabulous piece of work.

In fact, it's been mentioned here before: see e.g. http://www.ukhillwalking.com/forums/t.php?t=616707

In related vein, have a look at http://www.jostvonallmen.com/Gigapixel/EMJ_Gigapixel_2012/EMJ_Gigapixel.htm... (which has also probably had a mention here.) Just great.

There are skis below the capucin but I can't see the climbers. Anyone?
 Mr Lopez 10 Jan 2016
In reply to JCurrie:

They are heading up the North Couloir. On the snowy gully on the right of the pillar level with second most prominent snowy ledge that is below the big one easily seen.

See them now. Ta.

Couple on the Plan Midi ridge too. Tracks up to the Whymper too but they fizzle out.

Yep, and there's a chopper hiding behind the Cayman!

Nah, it's a moden bit of sculpture just bolted onto the arête.

There are quite a few bits it can't seem to cope with, which is a shame.

Pair practising crevasse rescue below the south face of the Midi?

A few folk on the cosmiques, unsurprisingly. But no queue at the rock step!

It certainly gave my laptop some work to do, judging by the fan speed.

Brilliant! A couple of climbers at the top of Tour Ronde N. Face , orange and a red jacket. Great way to wile away an hour at work.
