Hi guys. We are planning on a trip to Kyrgyzstan to do some trekking in the Karakol valley and the area around the Inylchek glacier. What is the best map(s) to get for this? Thanks for any help

There are now a number of trekking/mountaineering agencies operating in Kyrgyzstan and I would imagine an e-mail to them should produce an answer to your question.

I bought mine from the Geoid map shop in Bishkek (Kievskaya 107). If I remember correctly, most of the maps are 1:100,000 scale and all writing (place names etc.) is in Cyrillic script.
