Evening. I'm thinking of a pair BD Traverse poles for snowshoeing and a long Scottish winter backpacking expedition. Anyone used one could offer an opinion on durability, function etc?

Traverse is about the cheapest flicklock pole. It's rather good and robust, good for skiing and snow shoeing.

How ever, not the best if you fancy packin' the pole in the rucksack for some climbing... For that I have something else (that's also not as robust, so no skiing with them for me).
