University Lead Climbing Championships 2015
The University Lead Climbing Championships makes its debut in 2015 at Awesome Walls Climbing Centre Sheffield, on Wednesday 25th November, supported by V12.
The competition is open to any current University Students with lead climbing experience. The day itself will be a great day out for those new to competitions and the seasoned expert.
We have plenty of free parking on site, free Wifi and food will be available on site throughout the day including our legendary home made flapjacks!
Entry details
£10 entry fee.
Closing date for registration Sunday 22nd November 2015.
Entries on the day will be considered.
You must bring valid student ID with you.
Speed Climbing Event: FREE
Registration starts at 09:00 and closes at 09:30.
Competition starts at 10:00.
Universities will be restricted to a maximum of eight males and eight females. Teams will consist of four climbers from the same University.
Universities are to contact Awesome Walls direct to enter and pay for teams. Contact 0114 244 6622 between 10am - 9pm weekdays. Individuals and teams will not be confirmed until payment has been received (telephone payments acceptable).
All competitors will be required to complete Awesome Walls Registration prior to the event. Membership is FREE! This will be allowed on the day but may take additional time. To complete the registration form, please go to www.awesomewalls.co.uk.
Each competitor will have 5 hours in which to attempt a maximum of four routes. The top 8 individual male and female climbers will then battle it out for podium positions on the final route.
Prizes by: V12 and Awesome walls
V12 will be at the event to offer advice on all things climbing.
