I need to insulate a concrete floor but want to raise the floor surface as little as possible as part of a renovation project. The usual kingspan is too thick, but I've found Thermablok aerogel floor boards. -Aerogel insulation on the back of a rigid board. The R values are very impressive, as is probably the cost, but it may just fit my needs.

A bit of a long shot, but has anyone any experience with this stuff?
Would it cope with electric underfloor heating and tiles on top? - I know it's probably not the best way of doing it, but the whole house is a compromise one way or another.
