Hi Jason,

I've got one of the older versions just in the regular size, 6'2" tall, not had any problems with it.
The waist belt can ride up when reaching/bending over, but then I don't use the waist belt very often (unless with a heavier load backpacking, when it's just walking so ok)- so not a problem for me.
Find it nice and comfortable otherwise.

I bot one last winter new model I'm 5.11 fits me Brilliantly.
I'm normally an osprey man actually purchased the
The new Mutant 38 first then sold it as I preferred the Alpine attack
Only managed 2 winter trips at the end of winter felt stable with full winter kit
Great rope Strap unlike the Mutant and Tidy tool holders good hipbelt
Just seemed to suit me better than the Mutant this time around.

New Mutant does look good tho and its a great pack also worth a look
To compare

Go Outdoors were doing it cheap best trying it on if possible.
