Ultralight Outdoor Gear Ltd is an on-line retailer of specialist outdoor clothing and equipment that's growing fast, we're expanding our on-line presence and moving into larger premises at the end of this year. We currently have a permanent vacancy for an Order Processor based at our Darlington office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day processing, packing and dispatching of orders. In addition the role covers the processing of returned items, dealing with e-mail queries and the booking in of stock deliveries. The post holder will be required to work quickly and accurately to complete their duties, requiring the updating of computer based records, selecting items, packing and informing the customers at the appropriate stage of the process.

It is essential that applicants have experience of working on manual processing tasks and can demonstrate a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Previous work experience in an outdoor retail environment would be an advantage. In return there's an opportunity to work fairly autonomously in a relaxed environment with good terms and conditions and a generous staff purchase scheme.

The working hours for this post are 37.5 per week on a split shift basis, the job holder would be required to work from 7am to 4pm (includes 1 hour unpaid lunch) on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, then 7.00am to 12.30 on Saturday morning.

For the initial few months of employment the candidate will be based at Wynyard Business Park, but then will move to a permanent location in Darlington. There will be financial help for transport during the initial period based at Wynyard for someone living in the Darlington area.
