I did think the rwc was a uk affair as wales held a game.
I then heard the commentators say England 2015.
How come wales are holding games then?
Tried googling but found nothing.

It is England's World Cup to host, but they decided to hold some matches at the Millennium Stadium because we have the most awesome rugby stadium in the world.

Or Wales is an insignificant small country with no chance of ever being able to host the competition alone?

And they are doing quite well on the pitch right now.

I feel sorry for Uruguay at the moment

er.. Wales did host it. In 1999. Though matches were played elsewhere too. Perhaps that's one of the reasons matches are being played in Wales this time.

It is all down to money, the organisers promised the IRB so much money they needed to borrow a few big sheds.

The Millennium Stadium's not a shed, it's a cabriolet!

Every rugby player wants to play at the Millennium stadium, except the English!

Especially with the lid shut. Gives an unfair advantage. Didn't work last time though

...though only 9 of a total of 41 games were played in the 'host' nation

In reply to mark s: It's a way for Wales to be involved after the pool stages…
