Paintings of Snowdonia - exhibition.

I'm just flagging this up because I think David Woodford's paintings convey the experience of the mountain landscape of Snowdonia, principally the Ogwen Valley, like nobody else can.

The exhibition's currently on at the Tegfryn Gallery at Menai Bridge, and here's the catalogue ( with pictures)

The majority are small studies and range between 375 and 795. There are three larger paintings between 5500 and 5950.

At the preview last night, there was a brilliantly evocative pencil and wash picture titled 'Under the Black Ladders' which showed off the Crib Lem scramble superbly. £795- but it already had the red 'sold' sticker below it ...
