Rust spots on crampons

Mates just back from Cham And he borrowed my crampons.

Noticed a few rusty bits that I don't want getting worse

Best way if removing them?

Use sand paper.

nowt to worry about. There'd have to be a huge amount of corrosion before it would be a problem.

Just keep then dry, they will wear out several centuries before they rust away.

They'll soon clean themselves up after the first outing when the white stuff returns.

I'd use wire wool and some WD40 if it was me, but I can be mildly obsessive about certain things.

It might make you feel happier, and that's got to be a good thing.
