I've been in the Alps (arolla) for the last week and the weather has really started deteriorating. It's pretty much rained solidly for the last 3 days. We've got one more week left until we need to be back at Calais. The weather is t showing any signs of improvement, has anyone got any ideas for locations that will be better in the next week? Ideally alpine PD grades but think we would be happy sport climbing too.

Check the weather forecasts for Zermatt, Sass, Chamonix etc. and be prepared to follow the good weather. If all else fails Finale is a lovely sport climbing venue

monday/tuesday looks like a good weather window around Zermatt/Cham (until another storm sometime on tuesday afternoon), just watch out for all the fresh snow as I spoke to some huts who had over 20cm of snow over friday and saturday and it is meant to be remaining cold at altitude for the next few days.

It looks like it should be improving everywhere towards the end of the week with (wednesday pm?) & thursday-sat looking good.
