We've had a last minute drop out
Glasgow to Inverness charity / jolly - four days over the bank holiday at the end of August. About 220 miles in total
We're Manchester based, leaving from Salford Quays / Manchester Picadilly on Friday 28th August (very early o'clock) in a combination of car, van and train and getting back on Tuesday 1st September (very late o'clock) in the same manner. Organised with military precision by yours truly,
All the costs are being paid for by us and it works out at about £120 each (support van, fuel for the two vehicles, 2 nights of camping, one night in a really great hostel, train tickets for some riders to get from Manc to Glasgow, then From inverness to glasgow / manchester for those who can't fit in the car). First class tickets from Inverness to Manc for 2 of the riders as well.
Chap who has bowed out has already paid half of his, so we'd only be looking for £60 to cover the lot.
Yeah, this is mostly to cover the costs, but we're a fairly easy going bunch of lads (7 of us) and you might have a good time out of it as well.
