walking the haute route arrola - zermatt

My girlfriend and I are doing this in September. Were taking the lightweight tent and staying in the campsites where possible, never been to Switzerland before, what quality are these campsites? showers? food? benches available? Are they expensive?

also camping gas, can i get camping gas for a jetboil over there?

Stayed at the campsite in Arrola before which is excellent. Run by an Italian speaking chap who was quite helpful. Good facilities if i remember correctly and a shop with some bits ands bobs including gas. Great pizza in restaurant just down the road!

This is a great campsite. Owners watched over our tents when we were away staying in the huts.

Apparently the highest campsite in the Alps. Bring some bottles...(of Oxygen).
