To reproof or to not reproof (tent)
I've had my Vaude Mark II Lite for a number of years now and the fly is looking a tad jaded, I've not used it in the rain for about three years - how jammy is that! We're using it for our fortnight in Corsica and I'm wondering whether to reproof the outer or not. I was thinking of using the washing machine and Nikwax Techwash to clean it followed by Nikwax TX Direct Wash-In to reproof it.
1) Am I being over the top? And should I leave well alone?
2) Do I run the risk of actually unproofing it?
3) Should I just hose and spray proof it?
4) Any other twop twips?
Cheers, Tony
