I was going to get some Berghaus Borazons from some chap on here as they looked just the ticket but I wasn't fast enough off the mark.

I'll be crossing rivers, going up to 4800m, living rough for a few weeks and facing the full range of weather from sunshine to gales, rain and snow. This will be in the Hindu Kush kind of area.

Any thoughts welcome with the proviso that I don't want to spend more than about £50, but I accept that I might have to for something that's going to be decent and not contribute to problems while I'm out there.

TNF TIbetan hiking pants used to be good.
In reply to Frank the Husky: IN answer to my own question as no one else has a clue, Rab Vectors are the way forward.
