Robens Buzzard tent, 'how four season'?

I'm thinking of buying one for solo camping, and using one of those bug nets with a ground sheet you can buy from the US to go inside, so it's lighter weight and I've a decent living area inside to keep out the rain, and wash in if need be.

Has anybody used a Robens Buzzard, and how did they find it?

In reply to Timmd:

It looks similar to other tunnel-like outer-first-pitch tents (I have Force Ten Helium) and even though it's nearly twice as heavy as true lightweight tents, I can't see how it would work in Scottish winter.

It heavily relies on pegging though. I had a bad night couple weeks ago in F10 Helium tent in Arran - 3 out of 8 tent pegs were pulled due to heavy wind (60mph IIRC) and very soft ground where I camped. The tent held, but it was quite loud night due to the gusts. If the tent is pegged correctly so that there is very little slack (and it does not rain at night), the tent can stand quite severe conditions.

I am not sure whether it is worth the price given how heavy it is.

The Helium or the Buzzard?

Buzzard. Helium is 1.23kg or 920g for a more expensive option (carbon poles). I have heard some people using Hilleberg Akto in winter as it is meant to be very durable and tough, yet 400g (ish) lighter than Buzzard!

I may be able to get a Buzzard for cheaper than it's RRP, which would make it better value, and if I only use the fly with a net and single person bath tub groundsheet inside, that would make it lighter too.

It's more for wild camping in the summer I'm thinking off, rather than Scottish winter, but it's always nice to have an element of four season robustness.

Damn it, I am an eejit! It's a two-person tent, so my weight comparisons were a little bit off the mark. Sorry about that.

These tents work better than others because they are light (only a single pole) yet sturdy enough and gives quite a lot of head room. I had Snugpak Stratosphere and it is too small for a long trip, like a week or so!
