I didn't know if I should put this in the general climbing forum or the Alpine and Moutaineering section.

I have just read Jack Geldard's review of the guidebook by Jean-Louis Laroche and Florence LeLong published by vertebrate publishing.
For some reason I cannot comment on the thread about it, even though I am logged in.

Anyway I was just going to say that I have the authors other book(Mont Blanc Classic Snow,Ice and Mixed Climbs) and like that. I also may have this book in French version. If so I gave it to my daughter to translate some of it,but she may have deliberately lost it!Certainly the thin French book I have I found useful for such as the Papillons ridge.
I also have the Piola books for both sides of the valley which are better organised than their forerunners.

One book I have not seen much of over here which I do like and is probably a little better value for money than the book in the review is "Mont Blanc Classic & Plaisir by Marco Romelli translated by Lynne Hempton.
