Lost Earth Adventures are running a fundraising event this Sunday (14th June) at Stanage Edge to raise money for Nepal. Lost Earth Adventures operates in the UK as well as Asia and Nepal is one of our most popular destinations. Since the earthquake Lost Earth Adventures has sent a considerable amount of money to Nepal through their charity Share The Load Foundation and are looking to raise some more to send.
The Foundation is supporting sustainable projects in outlying rural areas such as school and village rebuilds, in areas that have been badly hit by the earthquake and the subsequent landslides.
Johnny Dawes will be showcasing his talent at "No Handed Climbing" (see it here ) as well as coaching people if they fancy having a go. As well as this we will be aiming to get as many people as possible to abseil - with a target of 1440m, the height of Kathmandu. There will also be goody bags from DMM.
