Astra Van Sportive 1.7 DTI - £1600 O.N.O. 134,000 miles, 2003 – 52 plate Metallic silver, CD player, electric windows, power steering, central locking, sports seats, alloys, A/C, tow bar, spare key - MOT Sept 2015 Very clean and well-looked after. Runs very well, no mechanical issues. FSH. Have owned since 2009, light use from previous owners – not a used and abused trade van. Weekend/leisure use from me - motorway miles & longer trips to Highlands/Western Isles. Rear fitted out for sleeping – sleeps 2 with kit in front seats. Obviously smaller than a full-size van but I’ve found it a great compromise; good to drive (cheap, 50mpg) carries loads of kit, warm & comfortable to sleep in (I’m 6’2”). In the back: - Fully-flat ply floor with carpet backing for insulation. Hatch access to spare wheel - Ply sides with box compartments for storage - Sides and roof lined with foil loft insulation & kingspan foam - Wheel arches covered with old thermarests - Foil screens for all windows - Cargo bulkhead (removable) & luggage loops in each corner. Regularly-serviced and maintained (have all receipts & MOT certs/service history): Has been a really reliable van for me. I’m keen for it to get used for more adventures. Full set of pictures available. Garaged in Edinburgh, email me through my profile.

Quite a few questions about work done, so here's a summary:

I've had anything that's come up fixed over the years:

- timing belt 07/'10 (102,000 miles)
- new alternator & belt 10/'10
- new rear brake drums & shoes 08/'11
- new O/S/F wheel bearing 02/'12
- new rear brake pipes/hoses 08/'12
- new handbrake cable 08/'12
- new front link rods 08/'12
- new front brake discs & pads 03/'14
- new front wiper motor 03/'14
- new engine mounting 03/'14
- new windscreen (chip became a crack) 08/'14
- new front brake pipes 09/'14
- new sump pan 12/'14
- new number plate (was cracked) 12/'14

So basically, the brakes have been fully replaced over the last few years, along with timing belt, alternator & sump pan (had a leak). I have all receipts for the above.

Thanks for interest so far.
