Hi all,

Next to my other sleeping bags I'm looking for a lighter (to take on a north face) one which I'll use while climbing mainly in march-april and oktober-november in high alpine and one which is water and wind (as good as possible) resistant.

Saw on this blog (from 4 yrs ago at around -15dgr): http://www.ukclimbing.com/articles/page.php?id=3652 that a Marmot Lithium sleeping bag (rated to -18c 870g fill, 1332g) did the job on the eiger NF.

I don't know if this is what people normally take so: How many down fill are you using for use like this?
Better to save weight and sleep a bit less or better to climb heavier and sleep better? And does a bivy bag do much when its already wind and water resistant or is it too heavy?

I was looking for this sleeping bag (pertex shell, 700 g fill, 850 cuin): http://sleepingbags-cumulus.eu/uk/categories/sleeping-bags/teneqa-700?gid=5...
Or maybe with 150gr down more (adds only 160 gr). Would this do the job for a shivery person?
I know 160 grams extra in weight is not much but I just want to spend my money well.

Anything welcome!
Thanks.

Nobody with experiences of taking a sleeping bag on classic north faces (or recommended weblinks)?
Thank you.
