30hrs per week Lead Instructor / Coach - The Climbing Station

The Climbing Station in Loughborough is one of the leading bouldering centres in the UK and we have set very high standards of instructing, coaching and customer services.

We are looking for a focused and enthusiastic instructor / coach to come join our climbing wall team to help in the development and progression of the centre.

We are looking ideally for a CWA/SPA and foundation coach qualified instructor, however we will consider anyone who has or shows commitment to achieving the above qualifications so please if you don’t have this experience don’t be afraid to apply. We will select the right person for the job.

Key activities
1. Lead and assist in a wide range instructed sessions.
2. Provide coaching to junior classes and as required adult sessions.
3. General counter / reception work.
4. Dealing with telephone enquiries
5. Assisting the Duty Manager in completing tasks
6. Stripping holds and washing
7. Opportunities to learn how to set problems
8. Run the reception, café and shop area
9. Some general cleaning duties as required
10. Floor walking for health and safety. This includes spotting issues and approaching customers

The employer may require you to carry out other reasonable duties as required.

Wages are £6.75ph for counter / general centre work and £10ph for instructing.
