I've got some zinc oxide stains from some plasters on the outside of a Rab Generator Belay jacket. I've washed the jacket with soap in accordance with the instructions on the label but the stains are still very much there. How do I get them off? I found this http://www.ehow.com/how_12037909_wash-zinc-oxide-diaper-cream-out-clothes.h... which tells me to use a bath of white vinegar but I'm a little worried that could damage the jacket, plus it would need a lot of vinegar unless it's to be diluted. Any advice?
Thanks, seems to have worked reasonably well. There's some tougher (black) material used for the shoulders where it hasn't come off so well, but it's good enough.
