I went up to look for it today with Alex Slipchuck (on here) and we found it. It was crag fast about 600m among the most complex part of the outcrops on the face towards loch sloy. It's safe with it's owners now.
Isn't this the 3rd or 4th dog rescued by climbers in the last 6 months ? I remember reading about one in North Wales and one in the lakes. Good to see people giving up precious time for what is like "looking for a needle in a haystack".
There was one in the lakes last year. If I remember rightly, a member of the MRT found it on the Scafells in the middle of the night. Strangely enough, that was a boxer too...
Lorraine McCall began her attempt today at a continuous, self-powered round of the Grahams, a four-month tour of upland Scotland combining walking and bikepacking. If successful, she'll be the first person that we know of to do it.
