Hi Pedro,

A couple of years ago three friends and I did a lovely week-long trek in the Oetztal (Õtztal) region out of Obergurgl, and back into Vent, via a new hut and peak (nearly) every day. It was awesome! The scenery was beautiful and the huts were great. Just to note, the guidebook we used was printed in 2000, and was a bit out of date already - some routes were quite different to described.

I wrote the trip up for our club's magazine if that is any use to you: http://ordinaryroute.tumblr.com/post/61597517921/austria-july-2013

Have a look at the Cicerone Austria Guides, you can buy downloads of individual chapters or routes from the books: http://www.cicerone.co.uk/product/index.cfm/menu/3/cid/84/catalogue/austria

This has been recommended to me, but I haven't been there yet. It is an 8 day route.

The Berliner Hohenweg is also very good (I think 8 days if memory serves) and has a cicerone guide.
