Any blacks, millets or go outdoors will have them. I'd try GO for their superb price matching.

But genuinely the military issue sealskin socks are good. Are long in the calf and fit well.

I like Sealskinz socks, if it's cold enough for them the wool lined ones can be cosy, I wear a thin synthetic 'cycling sock' inside them to help keep my feet from being damp before any moisture works it's way out of the sock.

I've mistrodden into rivers off stepping stones in them and not got wet feet.

Be aware the waterproof usually means that sweat won't leave the sock. Walk in a pair of waterproof socks, and you'll have no skin on your feet!
As mentioned above, the forces issue them, but mugging off an instruction to not yomp back to camp in them cost me big time! Owch!
