What are the summits like in North Wales at the moment? Is it worth taking an axe and crampons?
In reply to Steve Hill:

Probably not..... but you never know!

Most of the snow had completely gone earlier in the week, but there's still been some falling on the summits over the last few days and the summit air temperatures are hovering around zero.

If you see a patch of snow that requires crampons you can always walk around it!

In Snowdonia at the moment. Yesterday was shocking, couldn't reach the summits with strong wind and blizzard conditions. Yes probably would have needed ice axe and crampons though, there is a fair dusting up top. Conditions are forecasted to be a lot better today, heading over to Crib Lem on Carnedd Dafydd.
