Good climbing on the Mess of Pottage (all routes being climbed!). Haston Line & Hidden Chimney had loads of snow (some less consolidated, but neve in places), ice beginning to reform in cracks and good rock gear to be had.
The weather was pretty wild today, but tomorrow is looking like the best day of the week.

Was busy in the mess of pottage today! Seems everyone had the same idea, was glad to be down before the weather closed in.

Climbed the hasten line yesterday and found good conditions, felt more like IV, 4/5 to me though (http://www.masterplan-mountaineering.co.uk/2015/03/haston-line/ ) and hidden chimney today which was an enjoyable quick route (http://www.masterplan-mountaineering.co.uk/2015/03/hidden-chimney/ )

AMD good today, and Patey's Route was great.

It's looking like it will be warming from tomorrow and there'll be a 'significant thaw'. Nonetheless, there'll still very likely be snow in the gullies. Probably worth seeing how the weather forecasts develop over the next 24 - 48 hours or so, but at the moment Saturday looks warm and windy unfortunately.

Its Not all gone! Had a walk into Sneachda today to see what was left after the big Thaw of yesterday, answer well see for yourself! The main easy gully's are still intact. Jacobs is there if a little thing at exit, Aladdin's is complete, Aladdin's mirror Direct looks a bit thin for screws, but still worth an inspection and may build again tonight. Main gully's on Fluted look OK, Patey's is well out though. Couldn't see much on Fiacail but Invernooky looks out. Mid afternoon it was -1 degrees at the stretcher box and dropping with occasional snow showers, so still looking good if your after grade I to III routes.
