I am poor so buying second hand boots for my first trip winter climbing which means likely buying online

I was after a quick straw poll of what size people normally take compared with their street size in shoe?

My feet are exactly a size 10 (had them measured for b1 boot earlier in the year) so i'm guessing somewhere in the 45-47 range for the nepals? any real world examples?

thanks

My scarpa approach shoes are 8s and fit snugly with thing's socks. Most of my non technical shoes are 8.5 or 9 and I wear a 43 Nepal extreme.

Size 10 Dr Marten shoes (naturally), Size 46 in Nepals, I wear a liner/thick sock combination, I remember initially having a larger size and deciding to exchange after walking about the house for a day in them.

42 "normal" shoes, and 42 Baturas (which I beleive are the same last as Evo's). 40 in muiras if that helps in anyway.

48 in Nepals, 47 in Spantiks, 46 in Wildcats, 45.5 in Katanas.

Would be nice if UKC had a database of what shoe sizes people take seeing as climbing footwear seems to be so random.
