Hi all, I'd appreciate any info on Cuillin conditions as I'm thinking of heading up this weekend. Given the rather massive thaw over the past week or so, I'm not optimistic, so a detour to lochaber may be in order.

Does anyone have a first-hand info?

have you tried contacting mike lates? he was very helpful when I emailed him asking for info on condition and advice for the ridge.

Nearly all ice has been stripped out and the crest is a mix of rime and tongues of melt ice. Long snow stomp routes were the way to go and I hope you did get out yesterday. Forecast not great this week but more winter expected by the end of the week.
