Anybody been up to Arrochar recently ?

was on the cobbler on sunday, plenty of ice and snow hanging round in all the right places but it was damp and mild even then. soloed the main grade 2 gullies which were spring like but fine, other than that nothing climable until a refreeze (even great gully may be too broken now after the continued thaw). if snow plods are what you are after then thurs and fri should be ok, if harder and steeper is your thing then I think the southern highlands are out for the forseable future
