Anybody in Fort William lend me a harness urgently?

Hi all...

Currently in Fort William for a couple of days climbing on Ben Nevis... but have left my harness and belay device etc at home. With the early start tomorrow I'll be too late to buy one- anybody local who may be able to let me borrow a harness? Or know of anywhere I can hire one?

Will repay the favour gratefully with beer money.

You can make a harness out a 120 sling and a screw gate if all else fails.

Better with a fat nylon rather than a 6mm dyneema sling.

Yeah, 6mm might be a bit on the eye watering side if he falls on it. Probably wouldn't be any different to my BD couloir, which I really don't fancy taking a decent whiper on.
