Coire an t'Sneachda was busy today with lots of parties on the Mess of Pottage. Unconsolidated snow and ice in cracks, but great weather and very cold.
Much quieter in Coire an Lochan. Climbers on Savage Slit, Fall Out Corner and Ventriloquist. No. 1 Buttress looked good, No.2 & 3 Buttresses looked plastered in snow and No 4 also looked good but lots of snow clearing required. Unconsolidated snow on routes with ice in cracks, ice beginning to form throughout Coire.

Sunday was very cold and fairly windy high up.

We went into Coire an Lochan approaching from the lochan up to No.4 However we veered of onto the shoulder as the windslab got deep and spooky and visibility was minimal.

We wandered over to fiaciall buttress, abbed in down the seam and had a great time on Burning and looting which was in great condition. The whole area looked good.
