Surviving skiing with a sore IT band/ knee

Hi

Off skiing tomorrow. I've been doing one leg dips, stretching my hamstrings and rolling my IT band on a foam for weeks but my knee is still painful at the IT band. Any short term survival tips? Ice, naprosyn, ibuleive, knee brace, taping? Wincing already

Have a similar issue. I find heat better than ice (as I had no swelling) Currently foam rolling and doing lunges (with good form).
I still have 6 weeks before Ski-day so hopefully IT band will have calmed down by then. be interested in any tips myself.

For 2 years after I had patella tendinitus I took diclophenic with me and took it regularly on every ski trip
