Hi,
I'm booked with MIA Martin Holland for 3 full days of tuition in Scottish winter conditions as part of my training for Ama Dablam at the end of this year. I'd like to split the course with someone, who's looking at:
- Building on and/or learning key alpine techniques, including those specific to Scotland (warthogs), moving together, decision making on techniques, and of course, rope work.
- However, am flexible, so get in touch anyway if an efficient course (as opposed to a large group) is what you're after and want to get as much out of the tuition as possible.
Cost: £292 + accommodation (will be roughly £20 per night).

I never get the time to work on a UKC logbook (tend to focus more on climbing/training!), but a quick summary of me:
Rock - leading VS;
Alpine - have led (once) AD in the Alps, and as this post implies, keen to build on this as much as possible this year.
NB, going forward I'm planning I'll be doing a bunch of alpine trips (for the remainder of the Scottish season, and then in the alps), so this could be a good opportunity to eval for future trips also if you're looking for someone to train/alpine with.
