Stores Person - Job Spec / Best place to find one?

Am looking for a stores person for an outdoor centre - someone who loves gear but hates people and never wants to be an instructor.

Any advice on how to word the person / job spec or suggestions on places to advertise gratefully received.

That describes a lot of instructors I've worked with over the years...!

It does seem a dangerous requirement. Someone loves gear but hates people is probably not going to be overly keen on letting people near his/her precious.
Why risk damaging the lovely new rope when they can use some old paracord.

Write down, preferably in importance the main aspects of their job - the things you will expect them to do. Add a comment at the end something like, "this list is not exhaust and you will be asked to do other jobs/tasks when required.

For the Job spec, describe the kind of skills, knowledge &/or experience you'd expect a competent stores person to have.

Neither of these would be more than an A4 page for this kind of role.
