Simon Richardson is one of Scotland's most prolific winter pioneers. Over the past three decades, he has been active all over Scotland, but has focussed particularly on the Cairngorms and on Nevis, spearheading the shift to high grade mixed climbing. He is the author of the SMC guide to the Ben and hosts the popular blog scottishwinter.com
Simon's lecture, organised by the North East Mountain Trust, will give a personal perspective on the Scottish winter scene.
