Available in 10, 13 or 17cm the Revolution has razor sharp teeth to ensure first time placement with the outside teeth precision ground so that they pull the tube in efficiently during the wind in, and then are able to hold the screw firmly in position when loaded. The inside of the tube is polished to a mirror finish to minimise any frictional resistance when it is being wound into the ice.
They rack beautifully on your harness, the heads are colour coded for identification and in an emergency you can use the head of the screw as a belay device. It gives a smooth lower off point in an emergency or retreat situation.
