I'm looking at getting one of these. Any one with experience of using/owning one with views either way would be much appreciated. Cheers

I can't help with the M3 I am afraid, but I have had the mk1 for a while now (all the photos on my blog since the Cuillin Ridge in April 2013). I think it's a brilliant camera which is small enough to take out climbing yet still takes fantastic photos. Mine has been dropped onto rocks, into small puddles, used in wet winter conditions and is still going strong. I can also just about use it in big winter gloves, but changing settings does get a bit fiddly.

I think its a brilliant camera too. at times its a bit vibrant but apart from that its a fantastic camera. the macro is very good and its very easy to adjusrt exposure, colour balance, etc.
