Trekking peaks without a guide
Heading out to Nepal in a couple of weeks on a predominantly trail running trip but hoping to attempt Island peak if it's permitted unguided. Anyone have any experience of climbing a trekking peak without a guide or know if the NMA allow it?
In reply to Talisker:
they allow it u may need a fixer for speed of organising. quieter option is lobuche East. pack well padded shoes the trails are hard rock predominantly.
