All work and no play make Jack a dull boy. So how can we optimise the balance between leisure activity and work life? That’s the question behind a University of Sheffield research project, which is looking for participants to take part in its study.

The project aims to better understand how people’s experiences of leisure activities influence how they feel, how they see themselves and how they experience the work they do.

The results should enable participants to make decisions to better balance time and energy between work and leisure activities.

The project involves two different studies, a two-week daily mini-survey or a monthly survey study for six months. If you choose to take part, you will only be asked to participate in one of these.

Anyone who works full-time and has access to their emails during the working day is invited to take part in the research.

Participants who complete the study will be entered into a prize draw to win a £50 voucher to spend at Foothills in Sheffield.
