beginner , i need advice on buying reasonable quality skis and boots,
plan on traditional style skiing, in Norway....
havent got a clue , help.
Done some multiday xc ski trips such as a traverse of the Vercors plateau but this was a while ago. I think the established designs of bindings have changed since then - I would think a specialist retailer up in somewhere like Aviemore would be able to give you good advice.
beginner in terms of ski touring, or general skiing? Either way, hire a couple different types of skis and see what you prefer. Get someone who knows what they are doing to fit you some boots and get the ones that fit best.
